“An Evening for Hope” Benefitting The Children’s Inn this Saturday, May 7th
This Saturday, May 7th, at the Ritz-Carlton in Tysons Corner, VA, the Children’s Inn at NIH hosts the 3rd Annual An Evening for Hope. The yearly gala brings in nearly 800 attendees from the D.C. area’s leading technology firms, government health agencies, and organizations who support The Children’s Inn.
NCC is thrilled to take part in the event and for a second consecutive year serve as a Welcome Reception Sponsor. You still have the opportunity to play a key role in the success of An Evening for Hope, as it raises funds for the Children’s Inn, by purchasing raffle tickets to win a Buddy 50cc scooter adorned with the handprints of the children who have stayed at the Inn.
The Children’s Inn is a “place like home” for children with serious medical needs. Nearly 12,000 youngsters and their families have stayed – free of charge – at the Inn. After spending their days in treatment at NIH, the children return to the Children’s Inn to spend time with their families and the compassionate staff and volunteers, enjoying recreational and educational activities.
We look forward to what promises to be a special night on Saturday, and we are grateful to serve as a sponsor for An Evening for Hope for a third straight year, as we do our part in helping to create a better experience for the children and families who stay at the Children’s Inn.
