Live Event and Multimedia Support for NSF’s Fall 2016 Grants Conference
Andrew Carnegie once said that “Teamwork is … the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results.” In that spirit, the National Science Foundation (NSF) held their Fall 2016 Grants Conference this November, hosted by Carnegie-Mellon University, giving NCC the opportunity to participate in extraordinary teamwork with the Foundation.
NCC was pleased to provide support for NSF’s conference, which sold out within three hours of registration opening, with 300 faculty, researchers, and administrators in attendance, including top NSF experts. Our pre-event support services included email marketing, materials production, and logistics coordination, along with the creation of an attendee registration website.
While conference participants learned about new NSF programs and initiatives, strategized for national science policy, and prepared proposals that are pivotal to shaping scientific research and development, NCC’s event production team was focused on enabling communication and collaboration happen.
We provided a three-camera shoot and webcasting with realtime captioning, as well as general AV support, ensuring the conference was accessible to a larger audience online.
This Grants Conference enabled us to continue our long history of Live Event support for NSF, which includes the East Asia and Pacific Summer Institutes (EAPSI) orientation, the Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) panel meetings, the NSF Global Summit, and several others.
We appreciate the opportunity to help NSF fulfill its mission to “advance the national health, prosperity, and welfare” of the nation, and we look forward to supporting future events!
