NCC Celebrates National Small Business Week

small business month

As an SBA-certified 8(a) small business, NCC was excited to observe National Small Business Week in Washington, D.C., last week from May 20-26.  The Small Business Administration has celebrated the impact of small businesses with this special week of recognition since 1963, as small businesses (businesses with fewer than 500 employees) have proven to be a crucial part of our nation’s economy.  According to the SBA, small businesses account for about half of the U.S. gross domestic product and more than 50 percent of private sector employment in the U.S., providing much-needed support to those seeking work during these uncertain economic times.

NCC is proud to be among the ranks of successful small businesses in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.  We mark our 10th anniversary this year and continue to expand both our service offerings and our satisfied customer base, while remaining true to the core values that have guided our operations since inception.  We encourage you to consider the significance of businesses like NCC in our respective industries and communities as the nation honors small businesses this week.
