NCC Celebrates National Small Business Week

Small Business

NCC is pleased to celebrate the 50th National Small Business Week, formally held from June 17th to 21st.  Every year since 1963, National Small Business Week has recognized the significant impact made by America’s entrepreneurs and small business owners.  More than half the U.S. population either own or work for a small business.

We are proud to be included among the thousands of SBA-certified 8(a) small businesses that operate in the United States today.  For over a decade NCC has continually grown in numbers of employees and customers, expanding our range of capabilities within all three of our divisions of service, all while remaining true to our vision to deliver a GOOD future by creating a better experience.  This is the philosophy NCC has adhered to since our inception in 2002.

In keeping with the nature of Small Business Week, on June 18th, two of our Multimedia and Production Solutions associates were in Norfolk, VA to provide webcasting and captioning support for the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization’s (OSDBU) Getting Back 2 Business government community outreach event.  Getting Back 2 Business is geared to small businesses, with the purpose of educating them about federal government contracting, specifically identifying and pursuing contract opportunities with HHS.  Our webcasting service ensures far greater participation in the event, as remote users were able to access the live stream or will later be able to view an archived version of the proceedings.

NCC is happy to celebrate its 11th Small Business Week during this year’s 50th Anniversary of this important event.  As this week concludes, we encourage you to take a moment to appreciate the critical contributions small businesses like NCC have made in a variety of industries across the country.
