NCC Completes AV Installations in Six SEC Regional Offices
NCC is pleased to announce the completion of audiovisual installations for six regional offices of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), as per our contract with the organization, which began in the fall of 2012. We will continue this work through the conclusion of installations in SEC Headquarters and the remaining five regional offices.
Our Audiovisual and Technology Solutions (AVTS) team traveled to SEC regional offices in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston, Chicago, New York, and Fort Worth, and installed several critical pieces of AV equipment including video teleconferencing (VTC) devices, projectors, audio mixing boards, and display and control panels. Furthermore, we provided comprehensive training sessions on the newly-installed technology to SEC staff at each of the regions.
This technology will be utilized for a range of SEC events such as Commission meetings, hearings, and advisory meetings. The installation of VTC ensures greater ability for the SEC to live within its budget; reducing travel, and enabling remote participants to be active viewers and contributors.
We look forward to providing a high level of AV support to the Miami, Philadelphia, Denver, Atlanta, and Salt Lake City regional offices, as well as SEC Headquarters in Washington, D.C., when we provide those offices with the same state-of-the-art technology as the six regional offices we’ve previously served.
NCC began supporting the SEC in 2009, as our Multimedia and Production Solutions (MPS) team has provided the SEC with real-time captioning, verbatim transcription, and video post-production for a wide variety of events; and we are grateful for the opportunity to now expand our reach to this significant longstanding organization by providing AV support.
We are proud to create a better experience for the SEC staff in its headquarters and all 11 regions, improving accessibility and participation for important meetings and events.
