NCC Donates More than 1,300 Food Items to Arlington Families in Need
NCC is proud to announce we will donate more than 1,300 food items to local families in need this holiday season. From early November through December 16th, we participated in an AFAC (Arlington Food Assistance Center) Holiday Food Drive, in which employees from across all of our service divisions, in both headquarters and off-site, donated a variety of food to AFAC for distribution to Arlington families.
Since 2012, NCC has had the privilege to partner with the Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC), an organization that distributes free groceries to nearly 4,300 unemployed or underemployed Arlington residents. NCC has participated in other AFAC food drives over the years, including the “Put the Giving in Thanksgiving” and “Gimme some Sugar” food drives, and many of our employees have volunteered at several AFAC events.
It’s not too late to help feed Arlington residents in need this holiday season and beyond: You can learn more about donating food to AFAC here, or you can contribute through AFAC’s virtual food drive.
We are grateful for our longstanding partnership with AFAC, and stand behind its mission to provide nutritious food to Arlington families in need.
