NCC Has Front Row Seat as New Leaders Begin Their Terms in Office

U.S. Capitol

While incumbent President Barack Obama retained his presidency after being reelected in November, there were several changes in leadership throughout the government at the end of 2012 and the start of 2013.  As a company that primarily serves clients in the public sector, NCC has facilitated a variety of projects that occurred in the midst of these significant transitions.

During the last year, our Multimedia and Production Solutions division completed the transcripts of record for Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Chairman Allison MacFarlane’s first Commission meeting and former Chairman Gregory Jaczko’s final meeting.  Furthermore, we look forward to providing multimedia support for upcoming Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) meetings under new Chairman Mary Jo White, after three years of transcribing and captioning a significant number of former SEC Chairman Mary Schapiro-led meetings, including her farewell ceremony.  We provided closed captions for Secretary of Labor Hilda Solis’ key speeches at the end of her term in office, and continue doing so for new Secretary Seth Harris at the start of his term.  Our Audiovisual and Technology Solutions division completed important installations and upgrades at the Department of State prior to John Kerry being sworn in as Secretary of State, and we provided transcripts for the venerable organization’s Jefferson Science Fellows events while Secretary of State Hillary Clinton served her term.

NCC’s verbatim transcripts and captioning of speeches given by these newly appointed leaders and their predecessors enable government organizations and the public to gain a fuller insight into current and past administrations, specifically their areas of focus, policy changes, and other critical issues.

Regardless of who attains the highest position within the government agencies NCC supports, we have a front row seat providing the transcripts of record of the first and last speeches of numerous leaders, and a voluminous number in between.  We are pleased to continually create a better experience for the organizations which we support, as each continues to serve the American people.
