NCC Helps NSF Make Grants Conferences More Accessible

The National Science Foundation (NSF) is a vital federal organization that funds research that directly effects many, research such as the University of Minnesota’s 3-D-printed patch that can help heal scarred heart tissue and the Cleaner Water initiative that aims to “make ‘wastewater’ a dirty word.”  In pursuit of NSF’s goal to fund “basic research and people to create knowledge that transforms the future,” the Foundation holds regular grants conferences that bring together professionals across the organization to discuss issues that are highly important to the scientific community.

In the same way that NSF fosters scientific innovation in research, leaders within the Foundation wanted a fresh, new way to communicate with their researchers about the details and benefits of their grants conferences, so they looked to re-design the conference website. That’s when National Capitol Contracting (NCC) got to work doing what we do best: enabling communication and collaboration.

We created a sleek-looking NSF Grants Conference website that gives details about upcoming conferences, allows users to sign up for conference updates, offers resources like webcasts and presentations, and much more.  Our dedicated and knowledgeable Multimedia Production team shot and produced a video entitled “Why attend an NSF Grants Conference?”, which outlines the many benefits attendees get out of going to these conferences.

NCC was privileged to assist NSF as it promotes scientific advancement and collaboration among research professionals, and we look forward to supporting the Spring 2017 NSF Grants Conference in June, as well as future conferences and events!
