NCC Provides AV and Webcasting Support for Dept. of the Treasury Conference

Treasury

On February 27th, NCC was pleased to provide comprehensive audiovisual and webcasting support for a conference of the Department of the Treasury’s Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) Consumer Advisory Board, in the Constitution Center in Washington, DC.

With only one week of turnaround time, a full team of video and audio operators and engineers worked quickly to complete the AV setup, which included tabletop, wireless, and podium microphones; the sound system and mixer; and stage lighting.  In order to produce live streaming of the event, we operated HD cameras to capture both the audience and the speaker, as well as recording hardware to create an archived version of the footage for the live webcast.  Our webcast of the conference can be viewed at consumerfinance.gov.

NCC has greatly expanded our scope in the webcasting arena over the last year.  Since January 2013, we have webcast events including Bill Gates’ lectures at NIH, NIST’s National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE) Workshop, HHS’ Advisory Committee on Blood and Tissue Safety and Availability, as well as several significant HHS/OSDBU and DOL events.

Furthermore, we have continued to provide reliable audiovisual support to all the organizations housed within the Constitution Center through our contract with Hines Management, which began in early 2014.  Since 2011, we have provided the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), a new Constitution Center tenant, with audiovisual and conference scheduling support and recently expanded our contract with the organization to include conference support and preventative maintenance.  Additionally, NCC has launched an audiovisual installation services contract with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) as it prepares to consolidate leases from two of its locations into the Constitution Center later this year.  We are responsible for the installation of AV technology in 78 of the Commission’s conference rooms as well as upgrading existing equipment, a project currently underway.

We were privileged to provide AV and webcasting support for this significant event, and we were happy to be a part of delivering a GOOD future by creating a better experience for the CFPB.
