NCC Provides AV Integration and Support to the U.S. State Department

VTC

In November, NCC executed our contract for audiovisual integration and support to the United States Department of State’s (DoS) Bureau of International Security and Nonproliferation’s (ISN) main conference room in its Washington, D.C. headquarters.

Our Audiovisual and Technology Solutions (AVTS) team installed high quality, efficient video teleconferencing (VTC) technology including HD flat screen displays, wall-mounted speakers, and an audio relay switch.  We reprogrammed the control system with an easy-to-use interface and installed cabling from the wall to the ceiling-mounted projector.  By removing a cumbersome equipment rack from the room and replacing it with a credenza that housed an internal rack, we  improved both the conference room functionality and appearance.

The streamlined installation facilitates user-friendly system control and operation, and ensures clear, highly intelligible speech from remote VTC participants.  Furthermore, we enabled ISN to stay within its budget requirements by repurposing a large quantity of the organization’s existing AV equipment.

Following the completion of the AV integration, one of our AVTS associates worked with DoS-ISN staff members to ensure their familiarity with the new equipment and setup.  The organization offered the following praise: “(He) did a superb job…His delivery of the training was excellent.  We greatly appreciate his efforts and professionalism.”

NCC has been privileged to support DoS with various projects since 2008.  For the last two years, our Multimedia Solutions team has generated verbatim transcripts of Jefferson Science Fellows events at the DoS.

We are proud to support DoS-ISN and look forward to providing this important organization in addition to many others with dependable, quality audiovisual and technology service in the future as we work to deliver a better overall experience for staff members and meeting participants.
