NCC Supports NIH with Audiovisual Upgrades Through Chugach Subcontract
In December, NCC was pleased to provide audiovisual support to the National Institutes of Health’s (NIH) Director’s Conference Room through a subcontract with Chugach Alaska Corporation.
Our Audiovisual and Technology Solutions (AVTS) associates spent the final days of 2012 replacing much of the outdated equipment in the conference room with state-of-the-art, easy-to-use technology. The upgrades included a high definition projector screen, control touch panel, and enhanced audio system. A key portion of the update was the installation of inconspicuous ceiling microphones for use during teleconferences, improving the conference room appearance and functionality.
When the AV upgrades and installations were completed, one of our AVTS associates worked personally with several NIH employees, including NIH Director Dr. Frances Collins, to guarantee their understanding and familiarity with the new equipment. The NIH staff members were eager to begin utilizing the new setup at their next meeting.
NCC is proud of its longstanding support of NIH, as we have provided this significant organization with high quality webcasting, captioning, verbatim transcription, and video production services since our inception in 2002. We are privileged to continually create a better conference room experience for NIH staff members and meeting participants through projects of this nature. Finally, we are pleased to expand our partnerships with companies like Chugach and look forward to more in the near future.
