NCC to Attend and Sponsor AFAC Spring Carnival for Second Straight Year
Pack your bags for Paris for Arlington Food Assistance Center’s (AFAC) Spring Carnival. Actually the carnival is being held in Arlington, but it will feel a lot like France, as this year’s event entitled “Une Soirée au Moulin Rouge” pays homage to the world famous Parisian cabaret. For the second straight year, NCC will serve as a sponsor for the AFAC Carnival, which takes place on May 29th at the Artisphere on Wilson Boulevard.
All the proceeds from the carnival will go to AFAC, as it provides supplemental groceries to Arlington residents in need. Guests will be treated to delicious bouchées, high-flying aerialists and acrobats, can-can dancers, and a performance by illusionist Max Major, who appeared at the 2013 AFAC Carnival.
We are honored to continue our partnership with AFAC, which began more than two years ago. NCC has proudly sponsored several AFAC events and our employees have enjoyed the opportunity to volunteer their time for the organization on numerous occasions. AFAC distributes nutritious food items like meat, bread, produce, canned and baked goods, and beverages to nearly 2,000 families every week.
We look forward to a wonderful evening at “Une Soirée au Moulin Rouge” and hope you can-can be there, too.
If you’d like to attend, tickets can be purchased here.
