NCC Wraps up an Eventful 2016

Executive Team - Holiday Party

2017 promises to be a busy year at NCC, one in which we will continue enabling communication and collaboration for our customers.  Likewise, 2016 was an eventful year, and as the last days of the year dwindled away and the holidays came and went, our employees were engaged in numerous projects, expos, and community events.

We kicked off the holiday season by participating in an AFAC (Arlington Food Assistance Center) Holiday Food Drive, in which employees from headquarters and off-site locations donated more than 1,300 food items to be distributed to Arlington families in need.

Shortly before Thanksgiving, we were honored to be awarded a contract with the Federal Energy Regulatory Committee (FERC) to provide captioning services.  Since launching the contract, we’ve had the privilege to caption the Committee’s Monthly Commission Meeting webcasts plus other events.

On December 6-7, two of our associates had the privilege to exhibit at the Government Video Expo (GVE) in Washington, DC, and on December 13-14 at the ASAE (American Society of Association Executives) Technology Expo in National Harbor, MD.  At both expos, we featured our wide range of Unified Communications and AudioVisual Solutions, in addition to our captioning capabilities and virtual meeting support.

Furthermore, we wrapped up 2016 supporting several significant projects including video production for HHS’s #CoverageMatters campaign, and live event and multimedia support for NSF’s Fall 2016 Grants Conference.

NCC Employees pose for the Ugly Holiday Sweater Contest

When we were not hard at work supporting our customers, we took some time out for holiday fun.  On December 9th, we held our Annual Holiday Party, and on December 20th several employees participated in our White Elephant Gift Exchange and Ugly Sweater Contest.

We thank our customers and partners for helping make 2016 a successful year for NCC.  We look forward to what 2017 has in store, and we wish everyone a happy New Year!
