Scanning and Content Management Contract with NLM

NLM

NCC is pleased to announce a new contract with NIH’s U.S.National Library of Medicine (NLM) for scanning and content management in its Division of Extramural Programs (EP).  Our team at NIH will digitize approximately 200,000 pages of paper grant applications and other administrative documents, that represent up to 20 years of information.

The conversion to electronic format by scanning and creating PDFs and image indices will free up valuable floor space for EP, while improving accessibility and maintaining the integrity of these important documents.

This contract builds on the longstanding work NCC has done in the grant application process within a range of organizations.  Our Conference and Peer Review Management (CPRM) team has supported the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) since 2011, providing comprehensive logistical, technical, and analytical support for panel peer reviews.  We have provided end-to-end support to the Department of Energy’s (DoE) Small Business Innovation and Research (SBIR)/ Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) program at its Grants Applications Processing and Support Center located in Germantown, Maryland , since 2011.  We have also supported several National Science Foundation (NSF) panel reviews for the organization’s International Research Fellowship Program (IRFP), and currently for numerous panel meetings through our conference support center.

In 2013, NLM EP awarded over 100 grants in more than a dozen program areas including research support, resource support, career development and training, and small business research and development.

NCC is proud to support NLM EP and ensure its staff is able to easily access and review a high volume of grant applications and other critical documents, creating a better and more efficient experience.
