Chuck Espinoza Featured in InfoComm International Podcast
The audiovisual industry currently generates $91 billion a year and is forecasted to generate $114 globally by 2016, something that likely comes as no surprise to anyone familiar with a smartphone, tablet, or any of the other countless technological devices in the marketplace (i.e. anybody who has watched commercials on television during the last decade).
Last month, NCC AV Operations Manager Chuck Espinoza discussed this evolution and more in a podcast with InfoComm International .
Chuck served as InfoComm’s Certification Committee Chairman in 2014. The committee oversees the “development and administration of credible Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) certifications.” Several NCC associates have attained this globally renowned AV certification which prepares the specialist for developing, operating, and maintaining AV solutions in addition to performing management duties.
Chuck was joined on the podcast by Jeff Faber, President and CEO of Sharp’s Audio Visual; and Barry Goldin, President of Unified Systems. They discussed their views on the current business climate, customer segments, and how “the cloud” fits into the AV landscape.
When asked to give an assessment of the current state of the AV industry, Chuck noted that it’s a “much better climate than during the recession” and it’s been on a “huge upswing after the government shutdown.” He also discussed the rising popularity of virtual meetings. NCC is proud to be a part of the ever-growing AV landscape as we continue to expand our range of AV services and have a full schedule of installs slated through the fall.
We encourage you listen to the Infocomm Today Podcast: State of the Integrator 2014 as Chuck discusses AV integration and the ways in which we’re making communication and collaboration happen® for our customers.
