Fall Feast at the Foreign Service Institute
A week after dining on turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, and a variety of desserts on Thanksgiving, a group from NCC headquarters joined our on-site staff at the Foreign Service Institute (FSI) for their Fall Feast, an internal event where members of NCC’s leadership team were able to tour FSI and celebrate the successful launch and opening of the State Department’s new Rosslyn, VA facility.
FSI is a “training institution … preparing American diplomats and other professionals to advance U.S. foreign affairs interests overseas and in Washington.” Our team on-site manages and runs their new Rosslyn facility, so the group from NCC was delighted to have the opportunity to walk through the FSI spaces, enjoy a lovely lunch, and see the FSI team in action.
It was obvious from how the members interacted with one another, with the institute’s professors and students, and with our prime contractor FD Stonewater that they have a great rapport, understand teamwork, and take pride in maintaining a quality environment.
We appreciate the warm welcome from everyone on-site, and we especially appreciate everything the FSI team does on a daily basis to continue enabling communication and collaboration for our client.
