NCC to sponsor, attend Arlington Free Clinic’s Vintage Hollywood Benefit Gala
On Saturday, October 26th, NCC will proudly attend and serve as a sponsor for Arlington Free Clinic’s (AFC) Vintage Hollywood Benefit Gala, from 6 p.m. to midnight at the Ritz-Carlton in Tysons Corner, VA.
The Clinic’s mission is to provide “free, high-quality medical care to low income, uninsured Arlington County adults through the generosity of private donations and volunteers.” In 2012, AFC’s team of over 700 volunteers, including 180 physicians, treated over 1,600 individuals and their families. AFC aims to keep its patients as healthy as possible so they can focus on working and taking care of their families.
The fourth-annual black-tie event will raise revenue to benefit Arlington Free Clinic’s medical programs and are an investment in the healthcare of our local community. The evening’s festivities will include a cocktail reception, dinner, a live band, dancing, a raffle, and silent auction.
Along with our support of the AFC, we have been privileged to support other Arlington residents in need by donating time and money to the Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC) for the past two years. Furthermore, this is the second benefit gala NCC has participated in this year, as we attended and served as a Welcome Reception sponsor for the NIH Children’s Inn Gala back in March.
We look forward to a wonderful evening at the Gala, and we are honored to do our part in creating a better experience for Arlington Free Clinic’s patients, helping to ensure they will continue to receive the critical medical treatment they need.
We ask you to consider making a donation to support the Arlington Free Clinic; details are available on its website.
