History

NCC was founded by Chris Marquez in May 2002 as National Capitol Captioning, with a mission to provide real-time captioning services to the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and to bring critical federal government information and services to all citizens, including underserved populations across the country.

NCC became certified for the 8(a) small business development program, and changed its name to National Capitol Contracting, to reflect business areas including: information technology, audiovisual design, integration and support; multimedia solutions; and conference management. NCC provides value to our customers across the federal enterprise through design, engineering, and operations and maintenance. NCC graduated from the 8(a) program in 2014.

Our community of satisfied clients includes approximately 50 Federal agencies and commercial clients, many of whom have returned to NCC for repeat business, entrusting us to support them across multiple service areas. Currently, NCC operates as a small business with offerings in AV/IT Systems Integration; Data Analytics; Enterprise IT Support; Section 508 Services and Records Management expertise.

Our mission remains the same today as it was at our founding in 2002: bring critical federal government information and services to all citizens nationwide.
